Instagram is very loud about what success looks like.

Top job.
Top body.
Top vacation.
Top life.

It’s impressive. It’s also incomplete.

But.

Real success looks very different. It’s so much more!

It looks like making it through what we’re facing right now.

It looks like getting up when we didn’t sleep well.

Forgiving someone we’d rather avoid.

Making the hard call. Trying again.

We may not have a million followers.

We may not have the ideal job.

We may not even have as many people around us
as we’d like.

But if we’re carrying our story with integrity…

We’re not behind. We’re building something solid.

So let’s promise each other
not to let a highlight reel from someone else
redefine our definition.

We’re building something real. That’s enough.
